Tyler emphasized the deep brotherhood he's formed with his teammates over his three years with the program. "These guys are my brothers," Tyler shared, highlighting the bonds formed both on the court and in the classroom. He spoke passionately about having his wife and daughter cheering him on from the stands, describing their presence at games as his favorite moments at SVU.

Tyler offered candid advice for prospective student-athletes, noting that combining athletics and academics at SVU is "a full-time job" and "a grind," but worth it for those committed to both their education and basketball. Speaking about the current season, he praised the coaching staff—Coach Bevel, Coach Ballstaedt, and Coach Wilson—for their role in preparing the team for success and helping each player understand their role.

Tyler particularly highlighted the unique atmosphere of playing home games in "the Barn," where the proximity of fans creates an unmatched experience.

On a lighter note, Tyler revealed his top three centers of all time (Shaq, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Bill Russell), and even teased fans with the possibility of attempting a three-pointer this season. He named Christian Goode as the team's top dunker and crowned DJ Green as the team's go-to DJ for the aux cord.
