Meet Aysia Foster

Aysia Foster, a Junior from Knightdale, North Carolina, chose SVU because of its strong sense of community. With multiple offers in academics, arts, and basketball, SVU was the only place that truly felt like home. After six visits, she knew it was the right fit.

Life at SVU

Aysia’s favorite memory? Hanging out with teammates and making a run to the NCAA Tournament. She encourages potential Knights to embrace the family atmosphere and competitive spirit of SVU athletics.

Inside the Season

SVU’s success this season comes from team chemistry and shared goals. With 12 returning starters, the team entered the season with a championship mindset, building on last year’s tournament experience. Their ability to win close games is fueled by strong camaraderie, summer preparation, and a clear vision for success in the USA South Conference.

College Basketball Insights

Aysia highlighted the balancing act between academics and basketball, emphasizing the importance of time management and recovery. She admitted that adapting as a freshman was a challenge, but the team’s academic standards and structure helped her thrive.

Final Thoughts

Aysia closed with a heartfelt shoutout to her teammates, coaches, and SVU community. She’s excited for the rest of the season and grateful to be part of something special at SVU.
