Welcome back, Knight Nation! In our latest Knights Table Media athlete interview, we sat down with Baylee Savage, a freshman from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, who competes for both the Women’s Volleyball and Beach Volleyball teams at Southern Virginia University.

Baylee’s Path to SVU

Baylee shared her recruiting process —he got connected to the program through a family friend and quickly fell in love with SVU after her visit. The positive environment and supportive culture made her decision an easy one.

Memorable Moments & Season Outlook

Baylee’s freshman year has already been filled with highlights, including winning the USA South Conference Championship with the indoor team. Now, as she transitions into SVU’s first-ever Beach Volleyball season, she’s excited to be part of history and grow with her teammates despite the challenges of training with minimal sand practice.
